The normal use of ordinary lathes must meet the following conditions: the power supply voltage at the location where the machine tool is located has small fluctuations, the ambient temperature is lower than 30 degrees Celsius, and the relative humidity is less than 80%.
1. Machine tool location and environmental requirements
The machine tool should be located away from the source of vibration, away from direct sunlight and thermal radiation, and away from moisture and airflow. If there is a vibration source near the machine tool, anti-vibration trenches should be set up around the machine tool. Otherwise, it will directly affect the processing accuracy and stability of the machine tool, cause poor contact of electronic components, cause malfunctions, and affect the reliability of the machine tool.
2. Power requirements
Generally, ordinary lathes are installed in machining workshops. Not only do the ambient temperatures change greatly and the usage conditions are poor, but there are also many kinds of mechanical and electrical equipment, causing large fluctuations in the power grid. Therefore, the location where an ordinary lathe is installed requires strict control of the power supply voltage. Power supply voltage fluctuations must be within the allowable range and remain relatively stable. Otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the CNC system.
3. Temperature conditions
The ambient temperature of ordinary lathes is lower than 30 degrees Celsius, and the relative temperature is less than 80%. Generally speaking, there is an exhaust fan or air cooler inside the CNC electronic control box to keep the electronic components, especially the central processor, at a constant operating temperature or with a small change in temperature difference. Excessive temperature and humidity will reduce the life of control system components and lead to increased failures. The increase in temperature and humidity and the increase in dust will cause adhesion on the integrated circuit board and lead to short circuits.
4. Use the machine tool according to the instructions.
When using the machine tool, users are not allowed to arbitrarily change the parameters set by the manufacturer in the control system. The settings of these parameters are directly related to the dynamic characteristics of each component of the machine tool. Only the gap compensation parameter value can be adjusted according to the actual situation.
Users cannot replace machine tool accessories at will, such as using a hydraulic chuck that exceeds the specifications in the manual. When setting accessories, the manufacturer fully considers the matching of parameters in each link. Blind replacement causes mismatch of parameters in various links, and even causes unexpected accidents. The pressure when using the hydraulic chuck, hydraulic tool holder, hydraulic tailstock, and hydraulic cylinder should be within the allowable stress range, and no arbitrary increase is allowed.
